Born in Newport, Wales, he completed his studies at Newport Film School before turning to filmmaking, where he produced three short pieces through BBC Wales and Channel 4 schemes; his BAFTA-nominated “Suckerfish” and the award-winning “Sister Lulu” earned international festival recognition and a sponsored trip to New York and Los Angeles for emerging UK directors.
