Mason Thames cast as the new DC Robin

Mason Thames has been confirmed as the new Dick Grayson, future Robin, in the DC universe. The casting was announced by producer Peter Safran, who confirmed the choice after months of rumors. According to Screen Wide, the actor, also headlining the live-action adaptations of Dragons, succeeds the last on-screen appearance of Robin. This revelation comes as the DCU goes through a period of reorganization, between critical successes like the series Lanterns and commercial difficulties of the film Supergirl. Despite the uncertainties, the Batman branch moves forward with this new face.
