Jaalen Best shines in Amazon's The Greatest

Jaalen Best delivers a performance that propels him to star status in the Amazon series The Greatest. The eight-episode season, created by Ben Watkins, traces the journey of Cassius Clay from Olympic gold to his first heavyweight title fight. The relatively unknown actor portrays the future Muhammad Ali with rare intensity, capturing the boxer’s spirit without limiting himself to mere imitation. The critic notes that this young talent is the best reason to watch the series, which nevertheless remains uneven. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series impresses despite its irregularities, offering a striking portrait of a 20th-century legend.
