The film Dune: Part Three, the conclusion of Denis Villeneuve's saga, will run 151 minutes, or 2h31. This runtime, confirmed by AMC and the Irish classification board, makes it the shortest of the three installments, ahead of Dune (155 min) and Dune: Part Two (166 min) - according to AlloCiné. More than an hour will be presented in IMAX, reflecting the volume of the novel Dune Messiah (over 300 pages) that the film adapts, versus 800-900 pages for the first volume. Timothée Chalamet returns as Paul Atreides, now emperor, messiah and husband of Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh) after the loss of Chani (Zendaya). The script shows a darker Paul, haunted by the vision of his death. The release coincides with Avengers: Doomsday, pitting Warner Bros. against the Marvel giant in a box-office duel already billed as historic.
