Johnny Depp considers a return in Pirates of the Caribbean 6

Johnny Depp has indicated that he could return in the sixth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean saga. The previous film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, is approaching its ten-year anniversary, and the franchise remains on hold. The actor was questioned by Entertainment Tonight during the promotion of Scrooge by Ti West. He explained that, if the conditions were perfectly met, he would like to help conclude the saga in the best possible way. According to Écran Large, he added that his return would depend on a reputation that has been restored after the legal controversy involving Amber Heard, and that the possibility of a new protagonist, such as Margot Robbie, has also been mentioned.
