Singapura, the new Canal+ thriller series premieres on 2 November
Six episodes, adapted from the novel L’Expatriée, blend mystery in Singapore with exotic images.
Canal+ launched the series Singapura on Monday 2 November 2026 at 9 pm, with two episodes shown on the opening night. An original creation by Elsa Marpeau, the six-part fiction draws inspiration from the novel L’Expatriée (Gallimard) and follows Justine, a French expatriate who discovers a community of expats and a mysterious murder. The cast brings together Naïlia Harzoune, Soji Arai, India Hair, Ariane Labed, Cédric Kahn, Pierre-Yves Cardinal and Léo Dussollier. Filming took place for a month in Bangkok, followed by three days in Singapore, and then an additional segment in southern France, according to AlloCiné.
