Netflix unveils the trailer for Pride & Prejudice in six episodes

Netflix has released the first trailer for its series Pride & Prejudice, set for six episodes starting Dec 3. Emma Corrin, known for The Crown, portrays Elizabeth Bennet, while Jack Lowden, from Slow Horses, plays Mr Darcy. The series, brought to screen by writer Dolly Alderton (Good Material, Everything I Know About Love), aims to be a faithful adaptation of Jane Austen's novel, without the satire of the 2016 version. It follows previous adaptations from 1995 and the 2005 film. “Once per generation, we can retell this story,” Alderton said. According to Ashley Hurst of What's on Netflix.
