Liam Neeson and Marisa Tomei trade lines for the first time in the action thriller The Mongoose. Neeson plays Ryan “Fang” Flanagan, a decorated veteran accused of murder, while Tomei portrays Tara, his ex-wife.
In an interview with PEOPLE, the actor said that working with her pushes him to outdo himself and that he has always admired her. He added that her presence makes the scene “easy” and “dynamic”. According to AlloCiné, the collaboration clearly delighted Neeson, who describes it as “so wonderful”. Tomei, Oscar-nominated for My Cousin Vinny, also returns to the Marvel universe as Aunt May.
