Bridgerton Season 5 Filming Completed
The season, centered on Francesca and Michaela, will stream in 2027.
The filming of season 5 of Bridgerton wrapped after nearly seven months of work. Netflix confirmed it in a low-key update on the TUDUM site, hard to spot. The new season follows the romance between Francesca (Hannah Dodd) and Michaela (Masali Baduza). It is expected to stream on the platform in 2027. The final day of shooting was shared on October 21 on social media, followed by a wrap-party with cast and makeup crews. Filming had begun on March 24 2026, slightly shorter than previous seasons which lasted 7-8 months. This season marks the first time the franchise is led by queer female characters, after season 4 set up Francesca's storyline, inspired by the novel When He Was Wicked by Julia Quinn.
