Season 3 of Avatar live-action arrives in 2027

The third and final season of Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action will be streamed on Netflix in 2027. Production is wrapped and the first look at Fire Lord Ozai has already leaked. The project is part of the Avatar universe revival in 2026, led by Avatar Studios, a subsidiary of creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. On Paramount+, the franchise is expanding with the film Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, the animated series Avatar: Seven Havens, and, in the longer term, Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos. The live-action series has received mixed reviews, deemed darker than the original and lacking several animated plotlines, but it remains, according to What's on Netflix, the best live-action adaptation to date.
