Brian Cox calls his role in Dexter: Resurrection season 2 his most disturbing
The New York Ripper, played by Cox, promises an existential crisis for the killer.
Brian Cox has confirmed that his character, Don Framt aka the New York Ripper, will be the most disturbing of his career in season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection. The cast, announced in April 2026, also includes Uma Thurman, returning after season 1, as well as Dan Stevens. Cox, known for Hannibal Lecter in The Sixth Sense by Michael Mann and Logan Roy in Succession, describes this role as "the worst I have ever had to play". According to Screen Wide, the series, which surprised in 2025, is returning very soon with these prestigious guests.
