A book reveals the sketches and concepts of The Mandalorian and Grogu
The 256-page volume arrives on November 3, with interviews with the cast and a foreword by Doug Chiang.
Abrams Books publishes The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, a 256-page hardcover. It offers never-before-seen sketches, concept art and interviews with the actors. Phil Szostak, long-time collaborator with Lucasfilm, serves as writer. The book breaks down the visual development of characters, sets and ships, highlighting the central role of production design since the series began in 2019. It shows how the western aesthetic of the original films blends with environments created using Industrial Light & Magic's StageCraft technology, which projects digital sets onto LED screens. A foreword signed by Doug Chiang, senior vice president of Lucasfilm, completes the package. Source: Variety.
