Trigger launches a direct sequel to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

The studio Trigger is preparing a direct sequel to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on Netflix. After the success of the first season, it is Kai Ikarashi who handles the direction, after having signed episode 6, the visual climax of the original series. His radicality pushes the sequel toward a different dimension, at the expense of the previous narrative efficiency. Instead of a new tragedy, the story is built around four voices, where the trajectories of already broken characters intersect. At the center, Roman Carax, a young cinephile who has not given up either his organic body or his passion for cinema, embodies an unexpected punk in cynical Night City. Source: Écran Large.
