Police Squad! arrives on Netflix US on November 1 2026. The six episodes of the 1982 series, created by David Zucker, Jim Abrahams and Jerry Zucker, will be offered under the title Police Squad: The Complete Series. The platform already lists the series as a TV-14 comedy, describing it as the slapstick blueprint that inspired the films The Naked Gun. Leslie Nielsen plays detective Frank Drebin, supported by Alan North as Captain Ed Hocken. Originally aired on ABC, the series was cancelled after six episodes. According to What's on Netflix, it is one of the most anticipated acquisitions of the year.
