After a first installment hailed as one of the best of 2022, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners received a confirmed sequel at Anime Expo 2025 and was released on October 20 2026. Directed by Kai Ikarashi and overseen by Bartosz Sztybor, the second season explores revenge and second chances, expanding the story to multiple characters. The finale proves heavy with deaths, major revelations and references to Cyberpunk 2077. At the heart of the final plot, a digital entity named Capri, stored on a chip and visible only to D and Talia when they insert it, raises new questions.
