Yu Yu Hakusho season 2 begins filming on October 24 2026

The filming of season 2 of Yu Yu Hakusho begins on October 24 2026 around Hiratsuka Station in Japan. Production is handled by Kadokawa Daiei, a change from the first season which was produced by ROBOT at Toho Studios. Filming will take place at night and will involve about 300 extras each day, hinting at a large street sequence and, as usual, demon fights. According to What's on Netflix, Netflix has not yet officially confirmed the series' return, despite several comment requests going unanswered.
