Karma tops French box office

Karma, Guillaume Canet's new film, opens the week with 62,959 admissions, ahead of DreamWorks animated L’île des souvenirs (47,657 admissions) and Shaun le Mouton : La Bêêête d’Halloween (44,704 admissions). The latter records 11,665 tickets in preview. In fourth place, Clayface totals 26,622 admissions, while Le Roi du game arrives fifth with 18,781 tickets. This start represents the second smallest of Canet's career, behind Lui (15,551 admissions in 2021). The previous Shaun the Sheep installment had sold 25,430 tickets on its first day. According to AlloCiné, the animated film Le Robot sauvage almost reached 2 million admissions.
