The Countess of Monte Cristo: the first teaser aired in prime time
A female version of Edmond Dantès' epic presented on October 18.
TF1 and Netflix aired the first teaser of The Countess of Monte Cristo in prime time on October 18. The series tells the story of Edmond Dantès from the perspective of Mercédès Herrera, his wife, played by Audrey Fleurot, known for HPI. Created by Gaïa Guasti, Djibril Glissant, Clément Peny and Florian Spitzer, it follows the line of recent adaptations: the Pathé film The Count of Monte Cristo (2024) recorded more than 9.4 million admissions, and the Bille August mini-series (2025) was broadcast on France 2 and Rai with Sam Claflin. The new version will arrive soon on TF1 and TF1+. Source: Écran Large
