Tarantino devotes himself to a play before his final film

After dropping The Movie Critic, he backs The Popinjay Cavalier before deciding.

Quentin Tarantino has confirmed that his tenth feature will be his last. He had, however, considered The Movie Critic, a project he set aside in 2024. Since then, he has developed several ideas, including the script for Nouvelles Mésaventures de Cliff Booth and a swashbuckling play with Sacha Baron Cohen slated for London next year. “I have written a script that I could make and that I really like, but I want to stage this play to discover who I am; then I will go home to spend time with my family, enjoy life a bit, and then I’ll see what I want to do,” he told AlloCiné, via Variety. He therefore prefers to focus on The Popinjay Cavalier before any future decision.
