Netflix launches a Minecraft film with angular design
The feature film, produced by Warner Bros., explores the game's cubic aesthetic.
Netflix offers a Minecraft film whose visuals are characterized by square shapes and pronounced angles. Produced by Warner Bros., the project is presented as an action-adventure film mixing humor and a fantasy universe. The plot takes place in a setting inspired by the game, where every element retains pixel geometry. Scheduled for 2025, the feature film promises a visual experience faithful to the logic of the video game. According to the article by Sebastian Daniels, the film bets on the contrast between the cubic world and cinematic audience expectations.
