A new dense teaser reveals Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, less than a month before its launch. The trailer opens on a silhouette encased in full black armor, topped with a spiked helm reminiscent of Morgoth's crown. Sauron, played by Charlie Vickers, appears uncovered in front of a horde of Orcs, escorted by a guard in dark cloaks bearing the same jagged crowns. The action is set five years after the end of Season 2, promising a darker and more mature atmosphere, as noted by showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay. Prime Video finally releases this second look, particularly rich in images, according to Écran Large.
