Reem Kherici bets on hybrid with Chien et Chat on TF1
The film mixes live-action footage and 3D animation around the duo Diva and Chichi.
Trailer · TedReem Kherici signs her third feature film, Chien et Chat, broadcast on TF1. Backed by Franck Dubosc, herself and Philippe Lacheau, the film tells the explosive meeting between Diva, a feline star of social media, and Chichi, an ugly duckling of the streets, separated from their owners and left to their own devices between Montreal and New York. The screenplay, born from a pure animation idea in 2013, shifted after the director saw Ted and thought about playing with a plush toy. She chose the mix "live-action footage + 3D animation", judging it more modern. The full modeling of the characters was entrusted to La Station Animation, a studio already noted for Sahara, according to AlloCiné.
