Pierre Niney returns in the thriller Gourou

Pierre Niney returns to the screen in Gourou, a thriller directed by Yann Gozlan. The film marks their third collaboration, after Un Homme Idéal and Boîte Noire. He plays Mathieu Vasseur, a personal development coach with sectarian drifts, a completely fictional character who interacts with real personalities such as journalist Nicolas Demorand and presenter Cyril Hanouna. The presence of the latter sparked strong reactions, which the actor tried to explain. For promotion, Niney spoke with the magazine Première, where we see the "coach Matt" scene on the set of TPMP, alongside Jean-Michel Maire and Cyril Hanouna. According to Écran Large, the film will be broadcast on Canal+ on October 18, after the success of Le Comte de Monte-Christo in 2024.
