Kate Winslet and Maxine Peake lead "The Unheard", new Netflix series

Jack Thorne quickly expands his Netflix catalogue with The Unheard, a British limited series. The production stars Kate Winslet and Maxine Peake, two sisters on the run after a revenge act goes wrong. Filming is scheduled for 2027, with release in 2028 on the platform. The series is written by screenwriter Jack Thorne and directed by Mounia Akl. Executive producers include Mark Herbert, Emily Feller, Hannah Walters, Stephen Graham, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Nina Wolarsky, while the two actresses also serve in that role. To date, only the two leads have been confirmed. Winslet, already known for Goodbye June on Netflix, has a career that includes Titanic, Sense and Sensibility and Eternal Sunshine.
