Paramount+ unveils the teaser for Frisco King

Paramount+ released a first teaser for Frisco King, the spin-off series of Tulsa King. According to Screen Wide, the story follows criminal Russell Lee Washington Jr., played by Samuel L. Jackson, who moves to Frisco, Texas to build his own crime empire, inspired by Dwight Manfredi’s in Tulsa. The teaser already shows the character recruiting a driver and several accomplices to move from modest scams to a business targeting local rich. It also notes that Sylvester Stallone, hero of the parent series, will make a brief appearance in the pilot. Taylor Sheridan wrote the eight episodes of season 1, while direction is handled by Christina Alexandra Voros and Michael Fri.
