Michael Douglas reveals the tensions on the set of Wall Street
In his memoirs, he describes the conflicts with Sean Young and Charlie Sheen.
Trailer · Wall StreetMichael Douglas looks back on the filming of Wall Street, directed by Oliver Stone just after the success of Platoon. The role of Gordon Gekko earned him the Oscar for Best Actor and led him to return in 2010 for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. In his memoir One Helluva Ride, published on October 6 in the United States, he describes a "catastrophic" atmosphere behind the camera. According to him, Sean Young, who played Kate, Gekko's wife, maintained a terrible relationship with Charlie Sheen and with almost everyone except Douglas. She allegedly even had a sign stuck on her back that read "La plus grosse c". These frictions have long fueled testimonies about the film.
