Marvel Studios justifies ending Daredevil: Born Again after three seasons
Series head Brad Winderbaum notes the show was planned as a trilogy from the start.
Marvel Studios has confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again will end after three seasons. Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel series, said the plan was always to wrap the show at the third season, just like the original. He likened the series to two sets of three paperback volumes, followed by a pause to consider what comes next. He also hinted that audience numbers played a role. Winderbaum detailed these points on Brandon Davis' Main Character podcast. According to Écran Large, he presented the ending as a pre-planned farewell.
