Prime Video orders tennis drama series Rally
Julie Plec creates and runs the series, while Andre Agassi serves as executive producer.
Prime Video has ordered a new tennis drama series titled Rally. The project, signed by The Vampire Diaries creator Julie Plec, is set in an ultra-competitive tennis academy where ambitious young players discover that the most solitary sport demands sacrificing the relationships that give meaning to victory. Plec handles writing, directing, showrunning and executive production. Andre Agassi, former champion, also appears among the executive producers, alongside Justin Gimelstob and Emily Cummins. The series is produced by Universal Television in association with Entertainment 360 and Amazon MGM Studios. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the announcement was made on Friday morning.
