The Mummy 4 reveals its subtitle: The Mummy: The Book of the Dead
The film returns with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz, slated for fall 2027.
The fourth installment of the saga, long referred to as The Mummy 4, now carries the subtitle The Mummy: The Book of the Dead. Brendan Fraser reprises his role as Rick O'Connell, while Rachel Weisz returns as Evelyn Carnahan. Filming takes place in London under the direction of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, known for Scream 5 and Scream VI. The plot remains secret, but the first photos suggest a 1950s setting. John Hannah is expected to once again portray Imhotep, and Kevin J. O'Connor as well as Oded Fehr reprise Beni Gabor and Ardeth Bay respectively. New faces, Michael Johnston and Numan Acar, join the cast. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 13 2027, according to AlloCiné.
