Clayface, third DC film, reveals James Gunn and Peter Safran's long-term plans

The film Clayface was presented Tuesday night at the Hollywood Legion Theater, marking the third official feature in the DC Universe continuity. After the success of Superman and the setback of Supergirl, it is the first to be released under the leadership of David Ellison, the new head following the acquisition of Warner Bros Discovery by Paramount Skydance. The ceremony also marked the first public appearance of James Gunn and Peter Safran since the new executive invited them to remain at the studio's helm. "We really took them into the tent to talk about our plans for the years ahead," Safran explained, noting that the duo continues to report directly to Ellison. "It's exciting," he added.
