Swamp Thing progresses: the script is being written

The film Swamp Thing by James Mangold is progressing, the script is being written. The project, announced in 2023 by James Gunn, was to be directed by the filmmaker behind Copland, 3:10 to Yuma, Logan and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. After several years of waiting, the dead silence was broken at the preview screening of Clayface, where Peter Safran was questioned. "We are working on it, yes, absolutely. The script is being written," he said. According to the co-president of DC Studios, the film will indeed get made, even if the process takes time. Fans can therefore expect the promising gothic-horror film to take shape.
