Arséma Thomas confirms her return in the Bridgerton prequel on Violet

Arséma Thomas returns to portray Lady Danbury in the new prequel of Bridgerton. The series, still without an official title, will depict the budding romance between the young Lady Violet and Viscount Edmund Bridgerton, before they become the pillars of the family. The project has been greenlit by Netflix and is overseen by Shonda Rhimes, who co-writes, handles artistic direction and produces alongside Nicholas Nardini, known for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. The script will draw from the novella Violet in Bloom by Julia Quinn, published in 2013 in The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After. No additional casting has been announced yet. Source: What's on Netflix
