Jim Queen lands new sales in Busan
The film has found partners in Eastern Europe and South America.
The queer animated comedy Jim Queen secured new international sales at Busan. According to Variety, Global Constellation, the sales arm of the pan-European studio Vuelta, signed with Prorom for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. HBO acquired first-window pay-TV and SVOD rights in Eastern Europe. In Scandinavia, Folkets Bio took Sweden, AS Fidalgo Norway, while Films4You handles Portugal. CDI/LAT-E obtained Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay, and a Korean deal is under negotiation. These territories add to previous sales to I Wonder Pictures (Italy), O'Brother (Benelux), Capelight Pictures (Germany) and other worldwide distributors.
