Barad-dur finally revealed in season 3 of The Rings of Power

The third season of Amazon Prime The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will reveal the forge of the One Ring and the erection of Barad-dûr, the sinister fortress of Mordor. Sauron will finally take up residence there, a key turning point in Middle-earth mythology. Unlike Peter Jackson, who never showed the inside of the tower, the series offers never-seen footage of its dark corridors. According to Screen Wide, the season will also have to face competition from cinema, New Line and Warner Bros. (acquired by Paramount Skydance) preparing several films, including The Hunt for Gollum slated for 15 December 2027.
