‘Our Salvation’ opens with a record for Condor

The film surpasses the distributor's previous record, while Heart of the Beast remains box-office leader.

‘Our Salvation’ by Emmanuel Marre, starring Swann Arlaud, recorded 256,370 admissions on its opening weekend, a record for distributor Condor. According to AlloCiné, this total beats the previous record of 218,520 tickets held by Shadow of Stalin in 2020. Despite this enthusiasm, Heart of the Beast with Brad Pitt keeps the lead at the French box office: 74,931 admissions this week, a drop of 25% but a total of 882,101, bringing it close to one million viewers. The film ahead of Rays and Shadows (356 screens versus 405) and sits ahead of Verity and the adaptations of Colleen Hoover, while remaining behind Never Again - It Ends with Us (323,389). Positive word-of-mouth could push ‘Our Salvation’ toward one million admissions.
