Wednesday Season 3 confirmed for 2027
Netflix announced a 2027 release after filming wrapped in Ireland and France.
Wednesday will return for a third season, but not before 2027. According to the site What's on Netflix, filming wrapped in Ireland and France in September 2026, along with the announcement of the new cast. Netflix had confirmed the renewal on July 23 2025, accompanied by a new poster. The series now enters a long post-production phase. A spin-off centered on Uncle Fester has been mentioned in preliminary talks since 2023. Showrunner Alfred Gough said: "Our goal for season 3 is to make the best season possible, deepening the characters and expanding the world of Nevermore." The official logline describes it as "a supernatural investigation following the student years of Wednesday Addams at Nevermore Academy." Miles R. Millar and Alfred Gough remain showrunners and executive producers, joined by Kayla Alpert.
