The Batman 2 on hold: production suspended
Filming halted, Matt Reeves focuses on a family matter.
The production of The Batman 2 has been put on pause. Filming, which started in June in London, had already delivered a first teaser that looked more like a camera test. The suspension comes as director Matt Reeves needs to focus on a family matter, according to Warner, reported by Deadline. No resumption date has been announced and Warner's acquisition by Paramount Skydance is not mentioned as a cause. The U.S. release scheduled for February 18 2028 remains listed, but it is too early to know if the pause will change it.
