Sicario 3 reunites its trio of actors and a new director
The third installment confirms the return of Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin and Emily Blunt, along with a finally chosen director.

The sequel, Sicario: The Cartel War, directed by Stefano Sollima, generated $75 million for an estimated budget of $35-45 million, and did not match the same success. According to Écran Large, Deadline announced that the main trio is returning, Emily Blunt having not appeared in the second film, and that a director has finally been appointed after years of speculation.
