If You Listen, Ghibli finally arrives in French cinemas

The feature film Whisper of the Heart by Yoshifumi Kondo will open in French theatres on Wednesday November 4, accompanied by the musical short On Your Mark by Hayao Miyazaki. According to AlloCiné, the film has never been shown in France since its Japanese release in 1995, three years before the director’s death. The story follows Shizuku, a middle-school student, who notices that a stranger constantly borrows the same books as she does, then meets a budding luthier. Their encounter gives rise to a poetic romance, illustrated in the singing trailer that has just been released.
