Not a Stranger, a Turkish hit dominating the Global Top 10

Released worldwide on 17 September 2026, the eight-episode thriller, created by Tuğba Doğan and directed by Mert Baykal, stars Elçin Sangu, Melis Sezen and Ozan Dolunay in an intense love triangle. The logline describes Nazlı as “muse, mother, monster,” whose secrets threaten to shatter her relationships.
In its first week, the series debuted at number two on the Non-English TV chart with 4.6 million completed views (31.1 million hours). In the second week, viewership jumped 111 % to reach 9.7 million (65.7 million hours) and claimed the global top spot. A total of 14.3 million views were recorded in ten days.
FlixPatrol data shows that Not a Stranger holds the number-one position in a dozen countries across Latin America, Europe and the Middle East, while remaining the top-ranked show in Turkey.
