Sicario 3 confirmed: Taylor Sheridan wrote the script

The script for the third film of the Sicario saga has been finalized, again by Taylor Sheridan. The sequel, Sicario 2 - Cartel War, was directed by Stefano Sollima and featured Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin, just like the first installment that launched Denis Villeneuve's American career. Sheridan, known for Yellowstone, left Paramount, as reported by Variety, and his upcoming projects include an adaptation of Call of Duty and this new installment that ends a years-long suspense. Josh Brolin recently confirmed the project's progress.
