Fast X, the tenth installment of the saga, arrives amid fireworks

Less than two years after Fast & Furious 9, Fast X returns with an ever more staggering budget and an aggressive promotional campaign. The first installment of a diptych, or perhaps a trilogy envisioned by Vin Diesel to close the saga, the film gathers all the characters, living or presumed dead: Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, John Cena, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Charlize Theron, Jason Statham and company, facing the new villain played by Jason Momoa. Under the direction of Louis Leterrier, the story plunges into an avalanche of cars and dark humor, described as a "cult with cars" by the critic. According to Screen Large, the film makes no compromises on spectacle, even if the excess feels almost indigestible.
