Ducobu, a life-annuity and an unexpected romance in cinemas on October 7
Three new releases blend Halloween humor, real-estate satire and a quest for recognition.
On October 7, Ducobu returns for a Halloween adventure where Professor Latouche and Miss Rateau move into a house haunted by the ghost of Anatole, the biggest dunce at Saint-Potache school. It is the sixth film drawn from the comic series created in 1992 by Zidrou and Godi, directed by Élie Semoun.
Another film follows a young couple who sign a life-annuity contract to acquire a lakeside house, but the seller regains her health and turns their dream into a nightmare. The idea comes from a bad experience Kev Adams had with a life-annuity.
Finally, Marc Fitoussi's new project features Corinne Maclou, an extra, who meets Sandrine Kiberlain and finally hopes for a real role, following the director's desire to work again with Isabelle Huppert.
