Skydance, new name of the group resulting from the Warner Bros. and Paramount merger

David Ellison's memo says the merged group will retain the distinct brands of Warner Bros., Paramount and HBO.

It is 38°C on the Paramount lot, but the excitement isn't due to the summer.
David Ellison told his teams that the merged group will be called Skydance, the same name as the company he founded twenty years ago.
The memo, obtained by Variety, says Warner Bros., Paramount and HBO will keep their iconic brands without being eclipsed.
Paramount Pictures heads Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein will be promoted to an expanded creative role, overseeing the labels of both studios.
After Cindy Holland's departure, Casey Bloys appears to take the lead of streaming.
Pamela Abdy and Michael De Luca have left the Warner Bros. Motion Picture group.
The same note already mentions preparations for Barbie 2. (Variety)
