Wednesday season 3 slated for 2027
Netflix confirms a 2027 release after filming wrapped in Ireland and France.
The third season of Wednesday will arrive on Netflix in 2027. Production has just wrapped in Ireland and France, with several new actors added announced in September 2026. Netflix had already confirmed the renewal on July 23 2025, at the same time as the release of season 2 in two parts in August-September 2025. A high-risk Parisian road-trip with Uncle Fester is planned, and a spin-off centered on that character is in early discussion. Showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles R. Millar, supported by Kayla Alpert and other executive producers, aim to deepen the characters and expand the Nevermore universe. "Our goal is to make the best season possible," Gough said.
