Kathleen Kennedy feels a relief after her departure from Lucasfilm
After 14 years at the helm of Star Wars, producer Kathleen Kennedy admits a slight sense of relief as her tenure ends.

In an interview given at Bloomberg's annual Screentime event in Los Angeles, she explained that the role is not easy and succeeding what George Lucas created was an incredible challenge. When asked if she felt mixed emotions, she replied that she did not, simply adding “I guess there’s a little relief.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, the producer, chosen by Lucas himself, recalled her work alongside Steven Spielberg, notably on Jurassic Park, Lincoln and Munich.
