Johnny Depp plays a terrified Scrooge in the new trailer for Ebenezer

Johnny Depp, back on the Hollywood big screen, plays an Ebenezer Scrooge who is both haughty and haunted in the official trailer for Ebenezer. The film, described as a supernatural revenge thriller, first shows him rejecting charitable pleas before being seized by three spirits that plunge him into a terrifying world. Zombie-like creatures appear, while the character trembles at the specters' warnings. Director Ti West helms this dark remake of Charles Dickens' tale. The cast includes Andrea Riseborough as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Tramell Tillman as the Ghost of Christmas Present, and Ian McKellen as the business partner Jacob Marl. (The Hollywood Reporter)
