The project, led by the producer of “Miraculous”, puts the rights in the hands of a Norwegian director.

The film will be developed with Le Petit Prince Groupe, which manages the rights to the French bestseller, and produced by Aton Soumache, known for the phenomenon Miraculous. According to Écran Large, the director attached is Norwegian Morten Tyldum, famous for the historical film Imi. This version diverges from Mark Osborne's animated movie by opting for live-action, promising a visual reinterpretation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's tale.
