Sony schedules 2027 holiday releases of 24 Jump Street and Treasure Island

Sony has scheduled the 2027 holiday releases of 24 Jump Street and the remake of Treasure Island. Treasure Island will open theaters on November 11, 2027, followed by 24 Jump Street on December 10. The third installment of the franchise, confirmed in June, will bring together Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum and Ice Cube, who are in talks to reprise their roles. Rodney Rothman directs the film and co-writes the script with Hill and Meghan Malloy. Phil Lord and Chris Miller, producers of the first two installments, return alongside Neal H. Moritz, Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin for Free Association, as well as Hill and Matt Dines under the Strong Baby banner. Ridley Scott will helm Treasure Island, with a screenplay by Jack Thorne and production by Michael Pruss. (Variety)
