Naughty Dog launches two The Last of Us projects
The studio turns to new creations as the HBO series draws to a close.

On The Last of Us Day 2026 (September 26), Neil Druckmann said via the studio's official blog that these projects are underway. The HBO series The Last of Us is set to conclude with a season 3; Druckmann has left the production, leaving Craig Mazin alone at the helm of the show. The studio wants to focus its resources on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, a space opera exclusive to PlayStation 5, while continuing work on the Claqueurs, toxic spores and Seraphites. No concrete details have been given about a possible The Last of Us Part III. d'après Écran Large.
